Egg-citing Easter Cocktails

As temperatures start to rise and flowers begin to bloom, Easter gives us that exciting feeling that spring is here. It's a great time to treat yourself and your family to something a little different with some Easter-themed alpine cocktails. 🌼
MINI EGG MONTINI - SATISFY YOUR CHOCOLATE CRAVING!
Enjoy this creamy Easter cocktail with Cadbury's Mini Eggs, Altitude Gin and a splash of Bailey's 🍫
Mini Egg Montini
25g Cadbury's Mini Eggs 
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp chocolate syrup
25ml crème de cacao
25ml Bailey's
50ml Altitude Alpine Dry Gin
 
STEP 1
Crush the Mini Eggs in a pestle and mortar then tip onto a small plate. Brush the rim of a martini glass with a little of the honey using a pastry brush then dip the glass into the crushed Mini Eggs to stick them on. Pop the glass in the fridge until you need it.
STEP 2
Pour the crème de cacao, chocolate syrup, Bailey's and Altitude Gin into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice and shake until the outside of the shaker feels really cold. Strain into your prepared glass and serve.
 
RHUBARB SURPRISE - FEW THINGS ARE AS REFRESHING AND DELIGHTFUL!
 
We're all a-blush with this rhubarb cocktail, made with a blend of Pink Gin and fizz
Rhubarb Surprise25ml Altitude Alpine Strawberry Pink Gin
75ml sparkling wine
thin strip of rhubarb, to garnish (optional)

For the cordial
75g golden caster sugar
½ lemon, zested and juiced
100g rhubarb, chopped
1 slice of peeled ginger
 
STEP 1
First, make the cordial. Tip the sugar and 75ml water into a saucepan set over a medium heat. Bring to a simmer, then add the lemon zest and juice, rhubarb and ginger. Cook until the rhubarb starts to break down and collapse, about 5-10 mins. Pour into a heatproof jug through a fine mesh sieve and set aside to cool. 
STEP 2
Pour the gin into an ice-filled glass, then stir in 50ml of the cordial. Top up with sparkling wine. Twist the strip of rhubarb around a finger to curl, if using, then drop into the drink to garnish.

Perfect for brunch or before dinner. The floral notes of Altitude Gin play beautifully with the lemon, while the egg white brings a velvety mouthfeel that balances the drink.
Alpine Gin Fizz
40ml Altitude Alpine Dry Gin
7ml lemon juice
7ml lime juice
15ml simple syrup
1 egg white
 
STEP 1
Add all of the ingredients in the shaker and SHAKE!  Then, add crushed ice and shake for another minute to get as much egg foam
STEP 2
Strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish!
