Altitude Gin wins three-star rating at Great Taste Awards

We're thrilled to have picked up a three-star rating in the prestigious annual Great Taste Awards 2021, the highest accolade in the competition. 

Our signature gin, Altitude Alpine Dry Gin won for the first time, and was labelled “Exquisite".

The judges remarked “the brightness of the aromatics Altitude Alpine Gin carries is remarkable and certainly suggests a bracing breath of alpine air.... this DOES taste of the mountains!” and “a well-considered and well-crafted gin, amply rewarding... Bravo! the distillers of Chamonix!’

Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards. Run by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste Awards celebrate the best of food & drink from around the country.

Entries were judged blind by a panel of 355 judges, and attracted more than 14,000 entries and less than 2 per cent of those were awarded the top, three-star rating. The complete list of one-, two- and three-star winners is available here.

We have had an incredible year, clocking up two further gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021 and The Gin Masters 2021 and we have just closed a successful investment round to take the brand to new heights!
